Urban Decay naked heat - This ones my go to pallet since it came out, I use it most days and for most looks because I love the brown reds and orange colours.

Urban decay brow box - An item I will forever use I think, works so well with my brows.

Wunder2 Wunder brow - I brought this at the end of October just to see what it was like because I've heard nothing but good things , I love the product and I use it daily, my only issue is trying to get it off, I know its waterproof and I love that but trying to get it off is like hell, it does not budge.

Make up revolution lip kit - I brought this at the end of October to, I got it in shade Reign because the colour on the box looked amazing and defo my sort of shade but actually its a lot lighter than I would have thought, I do still love the colour, I just tend to use a darker lipliner so the colour comes out a little darker, as I had intended it would have been when I brought it.

Make up revolution setting spray - I LOVE IT. I had never used a setting spray before this one even though I've been wanting to try the all nighter from Urban Decay but this one for around £5 works a treat. I did buy the oil control ones because I have an issue with my t-zone getting oily though out the day but this spray sets it well and makes my makeup last longer.

Make up revolution baked highlighter - I pretty much only own this one, but makeup revolution is the one when it comes to highlighters. I love this one and I know I have my eye on a few others in superdrug. You wait, I'm coming for you.

Avon nail polish in an unknown colour - I borrowed a few from my sister, this so happens to be my fav, it also goes well with a jumper I own so nothing but love for this product too.

Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara -  I brought this one on a whim because it was an add on at savers and you know they try and boost the items on the till well I brought this, just out of the need of a new mascara, turns out, its actually really good.

So these are all off my fav makeup products from December, what items have you been loving recently?!

NOTE TO SELF: Don't buy coffee scrub if you don't like the smell of coffee.

I wish you could see how much I have been laughing at myself over this coffee scrub. Why did I buy coffee scrub??? I DONT LIKE COFFEE!!!! It smells so strong and urgh I hate it!!

Anyways lets talk about this product, I brought the product down to all the hype around the coffee body scrubs the last few months and wanted to see if they were any good. This one I brought from savers at around £3 and it read that it would help with stretch marks, which I love in a product, because I have a few areas that have red raw stretch marks. but other things such as bad circulation.

I tried it for the first time last week and I found that it was so much hassle just to get out of the bag, it was almost a pain to try to do in the shower and it was more mess than intended. Maybe I should have tried to fiddle with the bag and stuff before I intended to use it.  Moving on from that I found that the fact it was mixed with coconut to be just amazing, and it made it so much softer and smoother to use.

The scrub was hard to apply to the skin but I did like the fact it was bitty, I mean its coffee so of course its bitty but its nice to have a scrub that well actually scrubs! haha! Apart from that after mixing it a bit more with water it made my skin feel so silky smooth and fresh feeling, and felt the same coming out of the shower too which was nice.

Apart from the fact I don't have a clue why I brought coffee scrub, I did in fact like it, defiantly would be easier to use in a tub or tube of some sorts. Safe to say I wont be buying it again due to the whole not liking coffee thing but I will be passing it on to my mum and we will see what she thinks.

Have you tried coffee scrub?

I wish I quit. I wish I didn't decide to do blogtober and I wish I wasn't planning on doing it again next year. All that has come of this month has been stress, stress and more stress oh and not to mention the constant talking about rubbish on here which I did not mean to do.

I'd have liked it more I think if it was more of a group thing I think, if I knew more people that were doing it, and we had a page or somewhere we could share our daily posts and struggles with the whole thing. in fact maybe ill do that next year. If there is a next year.

Things will go slightly back to normal next week, I'm going to be writing and scheduling posts hopefully for two to go up a week about some thing a little more exciting and a lot more effort. anyways for the rest of the month, enjoy the rubbish I will be putting up and look forward to something cool in the next month or so.

Thanks for reading,

The Loreal pure clay cleanser, Wow just wow. I'm slightly amazed with how good my skin feels right now (about half a hour after using it).

If I am honest I was a bit baffled when it came to buying this one, simply because there are 3 different clay washes and 3 masks too, who knows what's going to be right for their skin, well I mean someone who's not good with the whole taking care of their skin thing! I brought the green wash because its made for cleansing and purifying the skin and for someone who's gets a lot of spots and scaring I thought it would help. I also read that the wash can be used as a wash and a mask so there was that factor added in to the whole thought process.

I was pretty surprised. from getting it out of the tube to washing it off It was a whole surprise. So to start with it came out of the tube very thin and light, which I was not expecting even though I knew it was a wash, I applied a think layer to my face and left it to dry, within 10 minutes it was dry. Looking in the mirror I could see it had dried over my spots and turned them white, I men not that anyone else will enjoy that but I did!! I then found that washing it off was pretty easy too and even though it had dried as soon as I wet it again it was as if it magically turned back into a face wash.

I was pretty impressed. I can not stop bosting about this one! oh and let me just mention the price, I got this one for £2.99 from savers as they had an offer on but usually its around £5.99 which isn't even too bad for for those who don't like spending a lot let me just say the price is very justifiable for how good the product is.

Have you tried one of these pure clay washes?

Today was a poo day. Everything seemed to go wrong that could go wrong and I don't think I'm prepared for tomorrow. I decided to start this thing off where any bad day I have I think  and write down at least 1 good thing that happened to me, I'm hoping this will keep me motivated and focusing on the good things not the bad ones.

1. I got to work and back in one piece (and so did the car)
2. I met a nice lady at work and she gave me hug to make me feel better. (there is good in the world)
3. Mum made s damn good pasta for when I got home!

Hey I know I said one thing but somehow I found 3. things crossed tomorrow is a better day.

What's one good thing that happened to you today?

So today we went pumpkin picking. Something I have not done before, so I was kind of great to do it with my niece and nephew but also one of my favourite people in the whole world, my friend Chelsey.

We went to Tillington court farm, just out side of Hereford, where they have fields of fruit and veg you can pick, the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. Everyone there were amazingly nice and we had the best time! Annoyingly though we went on a day where it decided to pour down with rain so we had to put our wellies on, waterproofs and get all muddy but that was fine because I had the best time and got some cool pumpkins!!

Here's a few snaps for you.

I thought id try and keep this whole music lately thing updated, I mean it has been 3 months so its not very updated but here we are anyways. My music list has been very weird lately, and I must admit I've been listening to a lot of radio 1 since passing my driving test. Anyways here's a little list of the music I've been loving lately.

Noah Cyrus - Again

Liam Payne - Bedroom floor

Rita Ora - Anywhere

Dappy - Spotlight

Like I said I've not listened to much recently but I am loving these four songs like mad!
What music are you loving this month?

If were honest, from an early age we are all drilled into thinking about what we want to be when we are older, always being asked what we want to be when we grow up. I swear all I ever wanted to be was a fashion designer, like since forever, I wanted to design clothes and make them and sell them, I wanted to own my own business. I wanted to go to art college and London college of fashion and move away and become a designer. but before that, I wanted to be a hair dresser. I wanted to follow my sister and be just like her. Maybe a lot of kids get stuck in that, In fact I just asked my niece what she wanted to do when she was older, and she said "I want to work in Paperchase like you or own a stationary store." Which is just like her because she is all about the stationary, but isn't that crazy how easy it is to influence a small mind even at the age of 11 she is being influenced by something I love.

What jobs did you want to do when you were growing up? I know some people are not like me and want to be more than 5 million different things before they are 10. I was I was like that.

If you follow me over on Instagram (@lilyjosb) you will already know that I came home with 3 lip glosses for less than £2 and I'm pretty god damn pleased with myself.

I went to TKMAX on my lunch break today and checked out the makeup section which sometimes I can find a great bargain in, I didn't, I mean I did but not in the normal bit of makeup, the items I found were in the clearance section and it may have taken me about 20 mins to look though all the pre opened leaky broken make up to find a few decent ones but guess who's happy!! MEEE!!

I mean a Revlon colour stay moisture stain for 20p if that's not a good deal then I don't know what is. I got in in the shade 040 shanghai sizzle Which is a bright red, and is going to be my go to this Christmas eve when I'm working!!
Apart from that I got a Loreal Paris gloss in shade 191 stubborn plum, that is basically a light pink colour but comes out a little more lighter than you would have thought.
Last but not least Ciate London Lip locked balm and tint in 'in the 305' which you can get online for £13 and I got for 50p. god I love a good bargain.

I tested them out to see how cute they were but I don't have any clue how good they will last so we will see about that. Anyways what bargains have you found recently??

I was having a little look though some old posts and August last year I made a post of my favorite summer lock screens, and so I thought it would be fitting that I made a similar post for Autumn and Winter. Now I do love a nice colourful lock screen for the Summer but Autumn time it changes. But anyways here are a few lock screens I am loving at the moment..

All art work was found via Pinterest / google.

Now I'm not saying I'm online a hell of a lot of the time but I mean, I kind of am. HAHA! I spend so much time look at a screen, if its not my laptop its my phone, If its not my phone its my TV, and that being said having a social media addiction on top of it doesn't help me at all. So its all down to this that I've created this list of thing I can do that doesn't include a screen, and just maybe it will help you too.

19 things to do to get your face away from that screen:

- write a letter to someone you love

- Get to the bottom of that chore list

- Clear out your wardrobe or sort though your room

- Do some colouring

- Start/add to a scrapbook

- Have a Disney movie marathon

- Bake something

- Go for a nice walk in the woods or a local park

- Test out some new makeup buys

- Play around and try out some new hair styles

- Volunteer somewhere

- Go visit a coffee shop and read a nice book

- Listen to a new album from start to finish

- Go swimming or for a run

- Learn to meditate

- Start a DIY project and create something cool

- Play board games with friends/family

- Make and try out a new smoothie recipe

- Have a pamper night, get some face masks, some pizza and wine sounds good too!!

What are some other things you do that doesn't involve a screen?

If I'm being completely honest with you guys this whole blogtober idea seemed so much better when I had pre written blogposts ready to go and the time and inspiration to write. I've found my self lacking in inspiration which is crazy because normally I'm on the go all the time coming up with cray things. Not to say I don't have some in the works. I feel like I should make some sort of mood board or get a little bit more organised with things before the new year!! I also know that it may have felt to you guys, like it has to me that I'm just kind of talking a bit of rubbish, but sometimes that's all this is for me, a place to ramble away, until I can worry less, or sort my head out more.

Anyways, As of November id like to say that I will have two posts going up weekly, a review, a lifestyle post / something that is in the works. we will see, thank you to everyone that is reading my posts, and talking to me on Instagram and twitter about things.

Fingers crossed this gets a little easier. (and yes this post was me basically talking about how crazy blogtober is so that I don't have to write another random post)

Hey,

So this has got to be the 3rd or 4th time I've written this out and this one has been sat in my drafts for a while but I still haven't put it out there. Its only 2 weeks until you are 22 so it seems like a good idea to re do this with some goals for the next year. Well originally this said "I hope by now you are driving, please tell me you are driving" but damn look who's already achieved that one. I also wrote about building your walls up any higher than they already are, but who cares? you've got your friends, works good and family, well that will always be the same old. I will just tell you thought not to let the negativity bring you down, live your life and the ones that matter will always be there.

I know there is no need for me to be hoping and wishing for things but fingers crossed you have your own car and all insured in the next 6 months so defiantly before you turn 23. Take those days off and go places you've never been or places you enjoy. Why not?

Keep working hard at work, I know some times it wont be easy, but nothing good is ever easy. Cary on doing what you enjoy and working with amazing people, but dream big, do some more craft fairs, sell some stuff, save up. Work for brands, write more posts, dream about moving out, and go on those crazy shopping trips to pick out what you want in your house. Why not do it? And don't forget to keep that bucket list updated, cross them off and add more to them. Don't forget to live your life and have fun and try not to miss out on the good parts.

I hope year 22 brings so much more fun things and so much more happiness too you.

Keep dreaming

I brought this sponge a while ago, I was a bit late to the party I must admit but when I was busy trying to decide what sponge I was going to try out I came across this one and got sucked in by the fact it is biodegradable and eco friendly. Which goes hand in hand with the brand. Anyone used so eco? I never have and so it was almost trying a new brand and a new product at the same time.

I used it for a few months, and it was amazing, it blended my foundation in so well, helped cover my spots a little bit too, and I could get under the eye with the pointed end. It cost be around £6 from TK MAX and I didn't mind spending that because it was said to be such a good product. The only issue I had with it was that after a few months of use and cleaning, it started to flake, it was flaking away in my fingers and started too turn to nothing basically. It was such a shame because it was so good and useable.

I would love to recommend this product to you guys, if only you wanted to buy a new one every 2-3 months. Has anyone else tried this one out? did it do the same to you or was it just me?

I'm 22 at the end of the month, if I'm honest I cant believe it. I didn't even think id make it past 18 but I did, I've got a cool job, I can drive and yet on my rounds of tidying my room out, I spotted my leavers book from 2012. Crazy to think its been 5 years since high school but what's crazier is thinking about all the stuff I used to do, all the people I was friends with and all the things I used to do. And yes I know this is another list post but here's a few things I miss from my teens.

- Spending all day outside: doing nothing at all but being outside

- Making apple crumble: Picking apples from the fields and taking them home to make crumble

- Blackberry picking: another one I did in the village and turned into pies

- Living around the corner from my best friend: and turning up at hers at 7 am for breakfast

- My blackberry: it was white and I begged my dad for months to get it.

- Having my walls covered in Justin Bieber, JLS and Zac Efron:  It was pretty cool to be fair

- Guitar hero and just dance parties: My one friend would come over all the time just to play guitar hero.

This is honestly the weirdest list of things I used to do, but wouldn't it be so great if things could be that care free again, walk around the fields, go swim in the lake and bake apple crumbles.

What's something you miss from your teens?

I swear all I'm writing are a tone of list posts about TV and films and all that jazz so ill start off by saying sorry...because guess what, this is another one of those posts. Isn't it great though that when autumn and winter hits all the great TV shows are starting back up again and all the exciting new ones are starting? It's also nearly Halloween so who doesn't want to watch some twisted and creepy shows? Anyways here's my list of shows I am and will be watching in the next few months.

The confession tapes - One I heard good things about way before I finally decided to watch it, its all based on true stored and is a little crazy to think about. You never really know what people will do and can get away with.

Making a murder - one a little like confession tapes, true stories about crimes committed, again a little crazy to believe.

Stranger things 1-2 - because I want to watch the second series but  I still haven't watched the first one.

Tin star - I have in fact watched every episode but I couldn't recommend it any more, its so twisted and dark and its the best show of the year.

American horror story - Haven't yet seen the new series but I loved all the rest of them so its on my to watch list and I'm sure its going to be a good one.

Riverdale 2 - As in season 2 that starts in a few days... and I'm very excited to be watching because the last one was amazing.

Liar - Last but no least one most talked about series this autumn I think, a little twisted, a little dark and touches a few subjects that are not talked about a lot.

I know its not a massive list, but its one to get me started, and I cant wait to watch some of them on here, what ones are you guys watching that I didn't cover?

this time of the year can be a bit taxing on our mental health, it can get a bit crazy with work getting busier, seeing friends, getting ready for Christmas, new year, and any birthdays in between. With crazy busy schedules its really important to make sure you are taking care of yourself and its hard to find things that will actually make an effect to your well being so here's a few ideas to take are of yourself.

- Take a warm bath, lots of bubbles, bath bombs, candles, and some relaxing music, take your time and chill out.
- Cook your favourite meal, and enjoy it.
- Find something that will make you laugh and put it on.
- Play some of your favourite songs.
- Make a positivity journal or jar, write at least one good thing a day.
- Start you day off slowly and as stress free as possible.
- Go to your local coffee shop, have a coffee or a hot chocolate and read a book.
- Unplug from social media for the day.
- Take a nice long nap and relax.
- Spend some time with some loved ones.
- Adult colouring books are always a fun idea to take some time for yourself.
- Surround yourself with things that make you feel happy, inspired and at ease.
- Always congratulate your self on every task accomplished, big or small.

What are some ways you practice self care?

Its a little bit of a late one today, but I've been a little stressed, a little busy at work and a little forgetful of the fact I have to put a post up everyday and have gone though all my prewritten ones. Maybe its the fact I've ran out of ideas on what to write about ( I mean I haven't really but still) I thought id tell you guys 5 happy thoughts I've had today, because thinking happy thoughts helps when you are on the go all the time.

1. I can do this, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this, I can do this. ( I drove to work safely)
2. Miley Cyrus makes me feel calm, put Miley Cyrus on.
3. Wow she's so good, how nice ( we've got a new girl at work)
4. Ill look after myself first, worry about a blogpost second... (soo here I am writing about something positive..)
5. Not giving up on blogtober, ill write for as long as I need too.

So that's it, might be a bit boring to some but for me its a good step forward. I need to do this more often, look for the positive in things. I like to write posts for me sometimes and this is one.

but to better things tomorrow!

If you haven't already guessed by the title... I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!
I know I know for some this is just nothing, just something you do to get your independence and freedom but this has been a long time coming!!

Let me just say that I didn't go with a driving school, just an instructor, her name was sue and she's the nicest person I've ever met, I honestly don't think I would have passed if it wasn't for her and the understanding she gave. It took me a long time if I'm honest.

I passed on the 4/10/17 with 3 minors, and it was my second time. My first time I stalled on a roundabout and knew that moment I had failed. it sucked. I did in fact pass my theory test first time though.

When I failed my test it hit me so hard, even though I knew it wasn't the end of the word, I just wanted to get on the road. I then had the whole issue with a 3 month waiting list... URGH! that sucked!!  I think there is a whole thing around passing your test first time, as if its the only thing that matters, and gosh you never hear of anyone that didn't pass first time because guess what... no one talks about that. The only bit of advice I will give anyone learning to drive, is not to give up! you deserve to pass and deserve to be on the road!!

If you're on the driving journey my fingers are crossed for you!!

I am determined to make this Autumn/Winter a good one because I always find myself t busy to do anything and so this year we, my niece nephew and I will be crafting and getting pumpkins and watching films. I'm defiantly going to make the most of the festive time.
Here's a few ideas for Halloween, before its over.

Decorating - fairy lights, bunting, pumpkins, what more do you want?

Treats - get some sweet treats in, Halloween candy, make some cookies, pumpkin or chocolate chip ones, and use some cute cutters.

Movie nights in - Find a great film, maybe hocus pocus, enjoy your sweet treats and have a cosy night.

Autumnal walks - grab a friend, your dog, or your sibling and go on a little walk, see the leaves changing colours, take a breath of fresh air, snap a few photos and go home for a hot chocolate.

Just a few simple steps to have a great Autumn/Halloween, let me know what you'll be doing!
