Keeping your make up brushes clean is one of the most important things. I use mine of a min of once a day, but most of the time tones more. For me, i cant stand dirty brushes, so i try to clean them once a week. This is also good because if you get spots easily and you use your make up brushes a lot, then the germs linger, and can cause you to get more spots. (Logic my mum pointed out to me)

Anyways here's how i clean my brushes.

What i use:
- Baby Shampoo
- Flannel

Starting off with my (very) dirty brushes i run some warm water, and put some baby shampoo on to the bristles. I then start cleaning them by going around and around in circles on my flannel, repeating this until all of the foundation or powder comes off on to the flannel and my brush is clean.

Making sure the water hasn't got to hot i rinse the brush and dry it, Using the same motions i used to wash them.

I continue to do this process with all of my brushes until i can tell they are clean (until the ends are white).

I thought seeing as i have showed you the quick process i use to clean my brushes that i would also show you what brushes i own.
These are the main 4 that i own and use every day, From urban decay.
They were defiantly something to invest in as they are pretty amazing brushes and have lasted a while, oh and they feel amazing!
They are
- Good karma - Optical blurring brush
- Good karma - Blush brush
- Good karma - Crease brush
- Good karma - Shadow brush

Lets just say these brushes have not let me down!
What make up brushes do you have?

So around a month ago the kind people at slendertoxtea sent me the 14 day teatox to try out. I was rather happy with that as I've wanted to try the tea out for a while now. A lot of people have said a lot of good things about the slendertoxtea.

So the whole idea of the tea tox is that it is meant to detox your body, help you lose weight and cleanse you. For the teatox you get 2 weeks worth of tea bags, one for once a morning and once every other night.

When i first started i hated the taste of it, to the point where i nearly gave up on the first day of drinking it simply because i could not stand the taste, but i didn't, and after a while i got used to the taste, (well kinda).

I don't really know if it was the tea or if my way of thinking changed, but when i was drinking this the teatox i felt so much better in myself. I felt a bit more confident, and working out was a great help too. Not to mention i had pretty much no spots for the whole time, and i felt like i had more energy to for fill day to day activity's.

The only problem i had with the tea (and other people i know had) was that it gave me a belly ache and gave me craps for the first two days. I either wanted to be sick or crap my pants (not that i did) it was horrible, but after a few days that pain went away and i felt fine.

Anyways, apart from the cramps I've only really got great things to say about the tea, as for the two weeks i was drinking it (and eating healthy) i lost around 4-5 pounds! Isn't that crazy?

If you want to try it out for yourself you can find all sorts of wonderful products including the tetox HERE

Have you tried it? if so what do you think?

One kind of post i have always enjoyed reading for some reason is mainly based on how to improve your blog even though most of them say the same thing - write great content ect.
I don't really focus much on my blog views, even thought i really want to hit 1 Million before the end of the year. But for anyone that wants to grow their blog then their views are a big part. I'm not going to lie it is a wonderful feeling when you love writing for your blog and people also love what your writing.

Even though i am writing a post about how to gain blog views, it doesn't really matter how many views you get, so take my tips with a pinch of salt, I'm no expert on it, and i doubt these tips will get you million of views.

1. Social media is your best friend - (Unless you don't like social media) Social media is great for getting people to read your blog. I love using Twitter and Instagram for promoting my blog/posts as you can add popular hashtags, and there are also accounts made especially for re-tweeting bloggers tweets to help them get more readers. I like to use @femalebloggerRT on Twitter and Instagram.

2. Comment Comment Comment -  One thing i have found with the blogging world, is that everyone and i mean everyone loves to get comments on what they have uploaded, i mean who doesn't love feed back? Also if you're like me, your like to read other bloggers views on the posts you like, if you do then you will also see that most people leave a link to their blog. This will also help you gain more views simply because you have added your blog url. (Personally if someone leaves their url on my blog then i go straight to their blog to check them out, and most likely follow)

3. Back link to previous content on your blog - back linking to older posts can help readers stay on your blog for a longer time and increase the number of blog clicks you receive. Say you write about a make up look you like, and you have doe a few before, you could like back to those incase your readers want to see a different look..

4. Content - Okay, so i am going to mention content now, and trust me i am no expert at all because i just write what i love how i like. Lets just say you love to review different products, but its been written about tones off times before by bigger named bloggers then it would be in your favor to write your post a little different/ give it a twist.
Lets just say i am scrolling though my bloglovin' feed and I've already seen posts on the product a tone of times before the chances are that i am not going to click on and read the post. Think of ways that you can grab your readers attention, or make them want to click on your post. I do find this rather hard myself as i don't quite know what my readers want, or will respond to but for me personally looking though my stats i get the most views on make up reviews and hair posts, i guess theirs a lot of girly readers out their aye?!

5. Be yourself - This last point is simple, be yourself. Write what you know. And enjoy what you are doing.

Do you have any other advice?

Since having depression, and starting my blog i have always wanted to write a post or 2 on the subject, but always thought that it was a little to personal for the internet, but then i think that what don't i put on here really? So i have put a few different tips together to help you feel less depressed.

1. Get in a routine - Depression can change the structure of your life, one day can fall into the next, starting off small with a gentle routine can help you get back on track.

2. To do lists - Setting daily goals can help you accomplish every day stuff even when you feel like you can accomplish anything. Start small simple things like walking the dog every day or doing the dishes, or even making our bed.

3. Working out/ Eating healthy - exercise can and will help you to feel a lot better. It temporarily boosts endorphin's, this can have a long term effect on anyone struggling with depression. Also if depression tends to make you comfort eat then starting to eat healthy will also help you feel a heck of a lot better because junk food will not make you feel any better!

4. Sleep - Sometimes depression can make it hard for you to get sleep, i know i struggle with that i lot. Not enough sleep can make depression worse too. You can try to change this my setting a bed time (yes i know it sounds silly) but going to bed, and getting up at the same time everyday should help. Also try to take any distractions out of your room, in time you might find that this helps.

5. Try to have fun - Make time for things you enjoy. For me i struggle with this because nothing seems like fun, but pushing yourself to do things you used to love can only make you feel better, even if they do feel like a chore at the time, keep going to the cinema, meeting friends and going shopping. you basically have to relearn how to have fun, in time, things will be fun again.

I've already started on this list, and for sure i am trying to do things i used to love like go to the cinema..

I hope this helps any of you,

Finding the right mascara has been my goal now for more than a year, i have always found that my eye lashes get clumpy and its hard to take off.  So when i found this one i instantly picked it up wanting to try it out. I think it was only around £2.99 so that's a plus as well.

Collection have been one of my favorite make up brands for a long time but sadly this product wasn't what i hoped for. I really liked the wond, and that it was blacker thank black but sadly it let me down on the whole "no clumps" side of things. For me applying this only once made my eye lashes stick together, maybe if you want a kind of think eye lash look it would be great, but for me i prefer to have long individual lashes.
I really didn't think this was any good, even for the price.

So over all i am rather disappointed with this mascara and would only give it around a 3/10.

One thing most bloggers have in common is fashion, but for most plus sized girls its rather hard, if your not as confident as you'd like to be. Sadly I'm not a confident person, but that doesn't mean i don't still love fashion, it just simply means i try to fit it into my life in other ways.
A few days ago i found myself browsing Boohoo.com because i love the fact that for a while now they have had a plus size range.. I firstly fell in love with this velvet kimono (and brought it myself) and then fell in love with the rest after (Number 6 is my fav) I havent done a fashion post in a while have i? so enjoy this simple boohoo wish list..

1. Velvet Kimono - £8.00
2. Acid Wash V Neck - £5.00
3. Gabriella Burnout long sleeve tee - £14.00
4. Oversized cardigan - £22.00
5. Mesh detail skater dress - £20.00
6. Chunky chelsea boots - £30
7. Kia Ribbon tie statement necklace  - £6.00
8. Tassle shopper day bag - £18.00

would you wear any of these? or is it just me?

So it must have been a few weeks ago now when benefit released their roller lash mascara, and everyone in the youtube and blogger community went crazy for it.  Everyone wanted to try it out, and review it, and it was even dished out with the new elle magazine.

I grabbed myself one of the elle magazines, basically so i could just try it out and review it.
For a tester mascara it is so cute, even the packaging is pretty i mean benefit would never do any less, but i just love all the rose gold on it too. On the one side of the box it has the Research results, which is kind of a way to suck people in because of how amazing the results actually are.

It is said that it lets you create ultra long full lashes. It grabs and lifts your lashes for a super curling effect, and It does just that. I have struggled for such a long time to find a mascara that will lift, curl and make my eye lashes look bolder but with out the clumps, i have never found one that does this!!!

The one thing that had me hesitating when i looked at the full sided product was the size of the brush, now its kind of small, but don't let that fool you. The mascara builds especially well. The wand's curvy side is perfect for building top lashes while the bush its self is small enough to be suitable for your lower lashes, i also love the mini one too, because the wand is small enough to work well on your bottom lashes.

Have you tried the mascara out yet?
What do you think?

A little background information you should know first is, i love fall out boy, therefore this post may be a little biased. But anyone who can appreciate good music, should understand.

just last month fall out boy dropped their very amazing follow up to save Rock 'N' Roll, American Beauty/American Psycho, What a long title to keep writing out though aye!
I  will give you a track list later on, but i'm just going to mention my favorites for now.  The first single released was centuries, which for a long time i have been obsessed with. Its a really amped up song, and is great to rock out to. Another few amazing songs on the CD are, 'The kids aren't alright' and 'Forth of July'. One of my absolute favourites is 'Jet pack blues' The thing i love about all of the fall out boy's songs are they each tell a story, and this one, for me tells a very emotional story. I guess everyone can see it in a different way, or not even see the story that lies in the lyrics at all.

Me and all of my friend group love fall out boy and we basically fell in loved with each and every song on the CD, But one i am in love with that i havent mentioned yet is 'Uma Thurman'. Its an amazing song that is peppered with references to pop culture, including a sample of the Munsters theme song. Its a pretty amazing song and will get you up on your feet!!

So if you haven't already listened to it, I will leave a spotify link so you can jam your hearts out.
