Have you ever found a place that you feel completely problem free?
That's what this place is to me.. Fields and fields of freedom.
I have always been a country girl, and living in a town has never suited me.
On top of this hill, surrounded by fields upon fields i get to escape, i get to look down on the whole of the town and feel protected. For a few hours i get to see this wonderful view, and go home clear minded, have my goals set, and get to take some wonderful pictures with me.
these are just a few of those pictures and i hope you enjoy them.

this is my happy place, wheres yours?

I spotted this quote on Sprinkle of glitter's (Louise's) blog, and i thought it would be the best quote to use this week.

For the last few months i have been struggling with my mental health as well as with finding a job.
These are both related because my mental health is causing me to struggle with finding a job or even wanting to find a job. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression a few months ago (when i was finally able to admit i was not okay) I know that is is kinda going off topic but kinda not..

I think the one thing that plays on my mind the most is how much i am disappointing the people around me. Even my family seem to judge me, and there is one person, that seems to love to rub in how good they are doing, or their family, or their kids. As silly as it sounds these are the things that hurt me the most.

My point though, is that I'm recovering.. And after all the struggle, and applying to hundreds of jobs and not getting any of them, i worked out what i actually want to do. I want to blog. This is what makes me happy, and this is what i want to do.
But it took me so long to figure it out, I did something i loved for two years and when i finished college i had to find something else i loved, and this is it. This blog. The people I've meet online. It all.

So due to all of this, I have chose to make this Motivation Monday about doing the things you love.
So bring on more blog posts, more interaction, and more updates.
Thank you for listening to be blabber on and let me know what you get up to that you love..

When i first heard that So...? had realised a selection of dry shampoos, i was pretty excited to give them a try, not because i love dry shampoo but because i have always loved so...? as a brand.

I brought the So...? lovely, and reading up about this one i found that it is immediately meant to freshen up your hair and give it a lovely feeling as well as having a lovely smell of apple, violet and sandalwood.

I liked the idea of having a quick fix item for when my hair got a little greasy and i was in a rush. So firstly i found that you need to use rather a lot for it to work and the product doesn't even leave white powder like other dry shampoos do, but it does need to be rubbed in a lot, also the 'soakage' seems to last pretty much all day. And smells amazing too (which you would expect from a perfume company)

I found that it worked rather good in the sense of getting rid of greasy hair, but no in the sense that it gives your hair a heck of a lot of volume, which i love the added bonus of with dry shampoo, I picked up this one from savers for just £1 so for the price it is a rather great product.

Have any of you tried the So...? dry shampoos, if so what do you think?

So earlier this week i discovered a post on cool blades, They wrote about 20 Hair straightener hacks, so i thought I'd give a few ago and see if they actually work.
Here's the post for reference:  HAIR HACKS

Starting lower down the list was a picture stating "Create a sleek look that has volume by not straightening your roots"

So i tried this both after washing my hair and drying it and a few days later too.
After drying my hair with a hair dryer i parted my hair into sections and starting a few inches from my roots i straightened my hair. I found that it did help with giving my hair a bit of volume, and adding a little bit or hair spray helped a lot too.
A few days later, i tried it again, this time it didn't work as well, i mean it helped but not a hell of a lot and i found myself back combing my roots.

The next hack i saw was "say no to split ends by always straightening with a comb" I mean i have always found it hard to use a comb, but i tried today, and after having my hair done i am trying to use one now, were soon see how long it takes to get a few split ends!

Heading back to the first hair hack on the list of 20 was "Use your straighteners to create curls"
I loved the fact that this worked so well! I mean i have a lot of hair so it took me a while to curl my whole head, but who needs curling irons when you have hair straighteners. It worked so well and the finished look i loved so much that i went out for a meal with my hair done like it.

So when i want wavy hair i have to wash it the night before, plate it and sleep with them in, wake up take them out, and brush out the curls because they are way to crazy and i end up looking like a poodle.
When i tried this one i never thought that it was actually going to work, but i was wrong.
After about 3-4 minutes of straightening the plate i took it out and boom.
WAVY HAIR.
So simple and no craziness at all.
I love it.

I only tried out a few of these hair hacks, but if you want to read the list of 20 you can find it HERE

Let me know what you think in the comments bellow, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the hair hacks.

I'd also just like to add that i had to do this post before i had my hair dyed, because i knew that i was also going to be having my hair cut rather short and would struggle to take good pictures that showed how well they worked.
So lets all just act like i don't have really really bad roots.

Lights, we love fairy lights in my house, and these lead up the stairs their so cute.

Farther Christmas. I cant remember a year that we didn't have this little cutie. He sings, he dances what else do you need to put you in the Christmas mood? I used to dance around my front room to this when i was younger, and now all of my nieces and nephews do.

Our hand made Christmas tree ornaments, The red stars that you can see in the bottom of this picture are stars that my older sisters made when they were younger, some of the other ones are ones my nieces and nephews made with my mum.

Oh yes and we have a real tree this year!!

Glitter glitter glitter. Who does love glitter? One thing that completes Christmas too.

So here's a small insight to Christmas at home.

Whats your fav thing about Christmas?

L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution.

When it comes to make up i have never really had make up remover that i have 100% loved. I can never stick to one product and i have probably tried tones of different ones out in the last year.

There's one thing i know for sure, and that's if my mum likes a product I'm sure to like it too, I found this product on my mums dressing table, and tried it out for two weeks straight, using it once every night before bed and it worked wonders.

I put a small amount on some cotton pads, and whipped it over my face, just using it to take my make up off, the solution feels as gentle and as light as water on your skin but dissolves your make up and removes it, also toning and soothing you skin.

"The "Micellar" solution acts like a purifying magnet on the skins surface to capture and draw out excess oil and impurities rather than spreading them around your face like some wipes can"

Features:
1. No alcohol
2. Dissolves make-up
3. Unclogs Pores
4. Tones and soothes skin
5. Suitable for all skin types

This is one make up product that i will be sticking with, until i find something better anyways.

What products do you use to remove your make up?

Launched on February 1, 2007 Polyvore has been the app that over 20 million unique visitors have used to style different outfits and shop for any fashion, beauty and home items that catch their eyes.

When i studied fashion at college i used to use this site to find unique Vera Wang items and other big names like her, then i forgot about it, but recently i have been using it. Creating "Daily looks" and scooping out Christmas nails and other amazing beauty items.

I like how you can arrange the items where ever you want them on the page, kind of like a collage, minus the cutting and sticking and then are able to share them with everyone on any social media platform. I am honestly addicted to this app, and I'm loving it right now.

Do you love styling?
Then go check it out, and while your at it go check out my page, I'm following everyone back :)

I don't know about you guys but i always find myself covering up the fact I'm upset or in a bad mood when really i should be talking about it, not holding it all in.
I have been struggling for such a long time, and no one has ever known about it, to me that has been a good idea, because i have not wanted anyone to treat me different or to act weird around me. But hiding how I'm really feeling isn't such a good idea, because then no one knows, i have no one to speak to or to help me.

There has always been this whole big thing about showing how strong you are, even if deep down your falling apart, and gosh men pull that off really well, not showing their emotions, but us girls, well we don't do it as well.

It is so important that every single one of you reading this know that it is okay not to be okay..
Wither it be a mental illness, or just an off day there are a lot of different people that you can talk to, from your parents, a friend or your doctor, even me.

Keep smiling, i promise things will get better.

What do you do to cheer yourself up?

There have been aa tone of different you tubers that have recently been gifted with this watch (mainly the rose gold one) (that i love) and i have only heard good things from them all.
So if you like the look of these as much as i do, you should defo go and check out the website for yourself.

This has been my favorite lipstick for the last month so i wanted to share it with all of you guys.

I've always had an obsession with lipsticks, And when i spotted this i fell in love with the colour and the name! - plum perfection. It's a gorgeous purpley plum colour with a shine to it. The lipstick is absolutely perfect for Autumn/Winter and for the price of £2.99 is pretty amazing.
It stays on pretty well, and when it fades it just goes a little bit lighter than the original colour,. I generally reapply every 4/5 hours depending on what I'm doing but it does tend to stay on pretty well for a moisture based product.
The one thing i love about this product is that it is actually made to make your lips more plump, it contains up to 40% of volumising ingredients to make your pout look even more plump, you can even feel your lips tingle as soon as you put it on!

This is defo a product that is a must have in my lipstick collection at the moment, and no doubt i will be repurchasing it as soon as i run out! You must go try it for yourself, If you love your purple shades as much as i do id try it out.

These are two words that go around most peoples minds a billion times when growing up.
What if..
i tried this..
we didn't break up..
i tried a bit harder..
i spent more money..
i didn't give up..
i didn't push people away..
i had better grades..
But why are all of these negative?

There is always something that we will what if about, but what if we didn't?
what if we stepped back, looked at the situation, decided what was the best thing for us, our self's as a person weather it be to make our self's feel better or invest, or even ending a relationship that isn't good for us..
What if we made the best decision in that situation and didn't have to look back and think about what could have happened if we didn't make that decision. After all we made that decision for a reason right?

What if, we turned all those bad what if's into good one? For that negative one in our head to push us, to make us want to something were holding back on. The one thing to remember is, you never know what will happen unless you do it, you never know how great it could make you feel? so stop what if'ing yourself and DO IT!

Don't let the fear of the future hold you back.

Motivational Monday inspirational quote #ravensreststudio

I love this quote so much!
Most people like me tend to look at the negative things/out comes.
But if you don't try how do you know you are going to fall? when really you could fly!

I struggle with my anxiety, and i have let that stop me from doing a lot of things in the past year, but i am determined to not let it stop me anymore. My anxiety is sky high at the moment because tomorrow i have a job interview. A job that i will actually love. At Hobby craft of all places. I am so excited it is unreal, but also scared as hell, because what if i don't get the job? then it was pointless in me going, so in theory, why am i even going?
A silly way to  look at things. Yes. So this time I'm not going to let it stop me, yes there's going to be people as good, or maybe even better than me there, but what is the point in not trying? I wont know if i don't at least try, maybe ill even get the job!

Dont give up on something just because you think you might fail, its your life so make it how you want it to be, and dont give up on something until you fly!
